Advanced Competitive League is the best alternative to club volleyball. Lower cost (about 1/2 of club) and no travel commitments. This is a 15 week league with high level training, including scrimmages against club teams as well as half of the tournaments are club tournaments.

Evaluation Dates:

Dec 29 2:00-3:30 for grades 5-6, 7-8 or 9-10

To understand the cost of this league a regular  Winter league of 7 weeks with one practice per week and 3 tournaments is $275. ACL doubles the number of practices and and adds 1 more tournament and the cost of that 7 weeks should be $550.  Double the length of the league and it should cost $1100.  We are offering the full league at 15 weeks at a $100 discount.

 

Tryouts:  For the Advanced Competitive League.  You must "tryout" this is not an automatic league to participate in.  The skill level and ability to play at a higher level must be demonstrated in the tryout  to be selected to this league. 

Requirements for trying out for this league:

You must be able to serve overhand from the baseline for all age levels.

If you sign up for the ACL and do not make it, you will be given the option of going to the Competitive League. If you pay online or at the door at tryouts for the ACL and do not make it you will be refunded your money in full if you choose not to play in any league or the difference between ACL and the Competitive League, if you would choose to play in that league.

  • Practices for the Advanced Competitive League will be twice a week
    • Tues and Thur evening from 5:15-7:00 for 5-6 ACL grades
    • Tues and Thur evening from 7:30-9:15 for 7-8 & 9-10 ACL grades

*adjustments to practice night might be flexible depending on the ability to work with other teams and movement of their practices.
